At Happy Chatters, every child learns in a way that celebrates their individual strengths. Our Neuroaffirming Tutoring Programme offers personalised, specialist SEND tuition — built around communication, confidence and emotional wellbeing, not just academic progress.
We don’t ask children to fit a teaching model. We adapt our teaching to fit the child.

Founded by Speech and Language professionals, Happy Chatters builds communication into every session — including support for AAC users, minimally speaking learners, and those with delayed language processing, hyperlexia, or Gestalt Language Processing (GLP).
We also understand how emotional regulation and sensory processing affect learning. Sessions can include sensory breaks, movement, visual supports and flexible seating — because when children feel safe, they learn best.
Rather than asking “what does this child need to improve?”, we ask “what helps this child learn best?”
Primary: Reading, Writing, Phonics, Maths, Science, Topic-based learning
Secondary: English, Maths, Science, Functional Skills, GCSE support (where appropriate)
Every programme is personalised to the learner’s age, interests and goals.
All Happy Chatters tutors hold an Enhanced DBS check and complete safeguarding, neuroaffirming and communication-strategy training, with ongoing professional development in autism, ADHD, PDA, GLP, sensory regulation and SEND legislation.
Sessions can take place at home, online, in schools, in the community, or at our clinic.
